Nathan Martell's Extreme Bent Plywood Layup Chair
Layup is a lounge chair exploring and challenging the limits of bent plywood furniture. A complex assembly of three pieces of 3D-molded veneer, joined seamlessly, forms a singular sculptural gesture.
Initially designed as a conceptual study for the 2025 Design Forum hosted by Becker Brackel, Layup is now produced by Established & Sons.
