| | | | | | | | Fabrication of ceramic filter using gibbsite as raw material | | This ceramic filter is made of gibbsite (Al2O3․3H2O). The process of making this product is by heat treatment to burn out the crystal water(3H2O) of gibbsite and produce pores as the ceramic filter. The followings are the advantages of this product.
(1) High Quality
It’s not necessary to use pump because the porosity of this product is as high as 55%. Compared with the traditional ceramic filter, the pores of this product is much more homogenous, the average pore size is only 0.5μm which can get rid of the viruses of dirty water.
(2) Less Air Pollution
The traditional method for making ceramic filter is by heat treatment to burn out the organic matter and produce pores. It will cause the air pollution and then increase the warmth of the earth. Nonetheless, we can avoid this kind of problem by burning out crystal water to produce this product.
(3) Cheap
It costs less than the traditional ceramic filter because this product is made of gibbsite. Gibbsite is a kind of natural minerals. There isn’t any organic matter added to gibbsite as the raw materials.
(4) Repeatedly used
After using a period of time, it can be cleaned and washed. You can use it repeatedly after cleaning. You don’t need to throw it away. The polymer made filter should be replaced by a new filter after using a short period time.
(5) User Friendly
It is easy to install and to use. In addition, the price is cheap. It can be worldwide popular. The disease caused by polluted water will be reduced by using this product. By using this kind of product can help the undeveloped country reduce the rate of diseases caused by drinking unclean water. | | | Product Categories : Home Appliances |
