| | Universal Design-Free Universe Release Hearts

Universal Design is the kind of good design aimed to let users smile from their heart.
The Chairman Mr. TANG has cited the famous saying from well-known universal design experts Mr. Nakagawa Chong, into his delivered speech, his humorous talk attracted all audience with laugh for illustrating the concept of Universal Design in easy understanding language.
Free-Space Education Foundation has been established for 3 years, the continuous 3-year of sponsoring universal design contest has inspired countless designers from the design community and ODM industry joined into universal design. The design “Another hand” in the theme of “Food” at the 1st generic competition has developed into a product. Chairman Mr. TANG said that when he got this product and showed the use to 5-year-old children, and tell them "this plate can help you clean every grain of rice in your plate", and then observe how children eat until finished, which showed that the last few meals has been easily flowed along the edge of the plate into vertical protrusions spoon, the children burst out amazing voice and give off a smile from their heart, which can be seen that universal design really considerate to the people's soul, regardless of any age can feel that.
The Current Status for the Promotion of Global Universal Design:
- 1989 The 1st of “Universal Design Center” established at State University of North Carolina: Provided assistance on relative information and technology.
- “Just Fit the environment” is a non-profit organization in USA, combined with International Association of Japan Universal Design and the Foundation of “Design for all people” of European Alliance: has sponsored 5 times of International Convention of “Universal Design’.
- Helen-Hamlin Center of British Royal Art College: has made effort on research plan with industries.
- European Design Center for Disabilities: holds Academic Research Conference of Universal Design.
- Co-Using Product Promotional Organization: spreads and develops Co-Using products for senior citizen and disabled people in Japan.
- Japanese Universal Design Forum: assists Enterprises for injecting the viewpoint of Universal Design, issued the publication of “UDF News”.
- International Universal Design Association of Japan: Through the Universal Design, to open the interexchange channel between Japan and the World.
- 2006 Free Space Educational Foundation of Taiwan: has held frequently contests of national Universal Design.
